First poster arrives for Frankenweenie

Frankenweenie, the brand new stop-motion animation from Tim Burton, has gotten an initial official poster and it is just as charmingly medieval once we had wished. The poster shows a tombstone bearing the moniker "Sparky", but wait one minute... is not that Sparky your dog peeking from behind it?Well yes it's, since the film will inform the storyline of the pet pooch cut back in the dead with a scientifically minded son. Naturally, he's less than just like as he left, but nonetheless, a minimum of he's back! Kind of...We love to the grimly humorous tone displayed here, in the mix made from bones towards the little doggy face created to the tombstone. If the can recapture the miracle and malice of Burton-produced classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, we're able to maintain for any real treat.Boasting voice work from the kind of Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara, Frankenweenie opens within the United kingdom on 5 October 2012. Don't tell the RSPCA.
